Oxford’s vibrant café culture is yet another asset to this beautiful city, and every coffee shop is an experience in and of itself. Although they can be found in every nook and cranny, check out some of our personal favourite café’s below…
The Jericho Café
The Jericho Café is a staple coffee shop and bistro just minutes away from the centre of Oxford. Known for its locally-sourced menu and excellent coffee, it is also a fantastic place to meet friends or catch up on some business by making the most of the free, high-speed Wi-Fi.

The Grand Café
In 1650, England’s very first coffee house was established in Oxford. Today, the Grand Café is located in that very same spot. Offering the “quintessential English” experience, the Grand Café serves mouth-watering food sourced from Oxford’s very own Covered market just up the road. You’ll find the Grand Café on High Street, between the famous Radcliffe Camera and Magdalen College.

Also nestled in the heart of Oxford, the Handle Bar never fails to disappoint. Try their bestselling avocado, feta, chili and almonds on toast, or a thirst-quenching freshly squeezed juice. With bikes hanging from the ceiling, the Handle Bar is a quirky café that should be on every visitor’s list.
